3. Configuring a MYSQL / MARIADB database backup

Feature available in Uranium Backup Pro DB and Gold editions.

Since version 9.1.0 Uranium Backup can perform backups of MySQL and MariaDB databases. The database may be located in the local network or on the Internet, there’s no difference for Uranium.

Let’s see the configuration of a MySQL / MariaDB database backup.

The first step is to create a new backup set:

Then click on Click here to add a MySQL/MariaDB backup:

Specify the IP address of the MySQL (v 4.0 or higher) / MariaDB (v 5.0 or higher) server, the access credentials and the port:

Select the database you want to back up and the destination folder:

The backup is ready for the first execution:
