Why doesn’t Drive Image delete previous backups?
For a fully functional Drive Image backup (delta update, volume mounting, bare metal restore), the backup must be performed on a NTFS file system.
Otherwise, it’s possible that Uranium could not be able to overwrite the previous executions of the backup, storing all the backup runs and occupying all the available disk space.
If you are using a NAS as backup destination, it’s likely that the file system is an EXT3 or EXT4. In this scenario we suggest to create an iSCSI LUN on the NAS to be connected to the server where Uranium is installed: you will be able to form the LUN with NTFS.
